ABOUT YUVA
uva is a non-governmental, not-for-profit humanitarian, social, and developmental organization that works for the common good regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation. The Yuva Organization for Children's Rights was founded in 2014 in response to the genocide committed against the Yazidi people by ISIS as an emergency reaction to safeguard children and close the rising educational gap of displaced peoples. It was registered as an Iraqi NGO in 2015.
Yuva Organization has educated over 4,000 children in the IDP camps and Shingal (known in the west as Sinjar) district, as well as completed construction projects, school rehabilitation, cleaning campaigns, provided necessary supplies to schools, established youth skill development programs, and implemented projects to assist affected families.
